sooo im going to move to my dads(in paradise valley) this weekend.
mainly because i cant live with my moms fiance anymore and feel allright at the same time.

annd im signing up for school at SCC on friday.

also, im going to san diego during labor day weekend to figure all this school shit out.(but i wanna go 2 days early so i can see cat power play... i just dont know if I'll be able to, because of work.)

god, i hate dating.

i hate going through the meaningless small talk, leading up to the juicy stuff, and then back to small talk again.

and going to the movies, where you dont talk to the person for 2 hours straight. you just sit there awkwardly anticipating the perfect moment that you can have that first kiss and extend it for the rest of the movie. and if its not perfect(they are a bad kisser, for instance), then you REALLY have to sit there awkwardly for the rest of the movie in complete silence.

and then you hold hands on the way out(sometimes) knowing that its uncomfortable for the both of you.

and then the goodbye.

where you dont know what to say.
and you dont want to sound desperate and tell them to call you.
but you dont want to sound uninterested and say "ill call you"

so you just dont say anything but thank you and then you kiss one last time.

and then nothing is answered.

and you wait, and wait, and wait for the other person to make the first move.
and if they dont, then you dont.

...because thats just stupid.

i am really not looking forward to this dating thing.

but it has to be done.

i cant be happy and alone at the same time anymore.
